American Folklore Theatre, now Northern Sky Theater, unveils two world premieres for 2015
American Folklore Theatre (AFT) has announced its 2015 musical comedy line up for the 25th Anniversary Season in Door County, Wisconsin.
AFT, which will be officially renamed "Northern Sky Theater" in January, will present three shows in repertory during the summer (June 11 - August 29) and one in the fall (September 4th - October 17th).
"It's fitting that we celebrate our new era as Northern Sky by doing what we do best," noted AFT's managing director Dave Maier. "Offering up two brand new hilarious musicals is our way of doubling down on the mission to create shows that our fans know were written for them and their families."
"Northern Sky Theater" to be American Folklore Theatre's New Name in 2015 -
"We love how this logo is at the same time evocative of the night sky and yet offers the subtle suggestion of 'music' with the shape of the guitar on its side," stated Artistic Director, Jeffrey Herbst. "The typeface really stands on its own with 'Northern Sky' as the strongest element and the word 'Theater' offering a bit of whimsy."
We plan to use simply, 'Northern Sky', as the shortened version of our name.
